This page is not just another exp oil or coin oil efficiency chart In fact it accounts for the boss being blocked by mobs as well as the distribution of Small Medium or Large enemy fleets that auto search will encounter When choosing a stage to farm consider the resources you want between coins ship experience and cognitive chips You should not choose a stage to farm based on its gear blueprint drop New Players If you are a new player you should probably be using one fleet to battle not two fleets Put ships in the second fleet but don t invest resources in it or use it to battle Your job is to rush to Chapter 9 Before Chapter 9 there is no efficient farming spot Choose the highest stage you can farm because that gives the most ship experience See a real new player guide this page is probably not useful for you yet Chapter 9 and 10 Once you have access to Chapter 9 and either one or two fleets these are some good stages to farm Read the rest of this page if you want to get details or to make your own decisions Tip Get to 11 1 as soon as possible because the efficiency spikes for 11 1 and beyond For one fleet 9 2 leaning to exp and 10 3 leaning to coins provide the best coins and exp overall For two fleets the higher the better but avoid 10 2 and 10 4 Chapter 11 and Beyond Unless stated otherwise exp coins and chips in this section refer to their per oil efficiency Chapter 12 and higher sometimes drop cognitive chips or augment experience stones from clearing rewards Higher chapters drop more and stages within the same chapter average the same drops per sortie while costing different oil Warning Some Chapter 13 stages have very lucrative coin and chip drops but if you need to bring max level ships to carry the exp will be much lower than stated in the tables 12 4 has respectable coins and exp and you can drag pretty low level ships through It s like the default stage to farm so the following stages are all compared to 12 4 11 1 has the highest exp of all stages 9% more exp but zero chips and 19% fewer coins We recommend to move to Chapter 12 as soon as possible 12 1 has 3% more exp and 7% more chips but 10% fewer coins It is extremely easy to level weak ships 13 1 has 1% less exp and coins but offers 82% more chips But note that farming is a tiny part of chip income 13 4 has 12% more coins and 52% more chips Watch its difficulty especially with two out of ammo mob battles 14 4 has 15% more coins and 91% more chips but is much harder than 13 4 14 1 15 1 and low cost 13 1 may enable chip farmers to level every ship to 120 a few months earlier after several years of grinding 14 1 and 15 1 give 130% and 156% more chips than 12 4 respectively If you know 13 1 then you know
We simulated the auto search algorithm and enemy spawns for each campaign stage 100 000 times using one fleet Chapters 1 to 15 and 100 000 times using two fleets Chapters 9 to 15 The server decides what when and where enemies spawn We made several reasonable assumptions and the simulated results were close enough to empirical results for a few stages chosen for verification Assumptions For Two Fleets the player set Roles for the mob fleet to Escorts and the boss fleet to Flagships For One Fleet the player set Roles for his her primary fleet to All Enemies and the throwaway statpadding fleet to Standby Submarines are not summoned in battle so their oil cost is zero The data found in the client matches what the server uses as parameters for generating enemies Fleets spawn in any valid non blocked tile with equal probability This includes player fleets normal enemies elite enemies and the boss The auto search pathfinding algorithm is done in the client so we did not need to make an assumption See Coin Details for further assumptions about clearing rewards and per battle drops For Chapter 8 and below there is no oil cap so we assumed 67 oil per battle for a typical max limit broken new player fleet
When the enemy boss fleet spawns your Flagships or All Enemies fleet will go fight it But what happens if all paths to the boss are blocked by an enemy mob fleet Your fleet will take the path with the fewest enemy fleets Notably if you are using mob and boss fleet roles your boss fleet will fight the extra enemy mobs plus the enemy boss Note Extra mobs that block the boss have several mostly negative effects on efficiency Your boss fleet may lose too much HP before the boss battle causing a lower rank like A or B or even outright losing the battle Lower mob exp oil You pay more oil per sortie for the same amount of mob fleet experience Higher boss exp oil This is the only good effect but requires that your boss fleet ships all need experience and that every battle is still S rank Significantly lower coins oil You pay more oil per sortie but the clearing rewards don t increase
Ship experience and coins per oil efficiency when using TWO fleets Perfect Oil one sortie s oil cost that the game or wiki pages advertise It is equal to 10 MobOilCap * MobCount BossOilCap * BossCount Actual Oil one sortie s average simulated oil cost when using auto search Coins Oil average coins per sortie divided by Actual Oil including clearing rewards and per battle rewards Retire Coins Oil same as Coins Oil but also includes coins from retiring all ship drops and disassembling all of their equipment Total Exp Oil average ship experience per sortie divided by Actual Oil calculated with 6 ships worth of experience per battle Bonuses like MVP flagship S A B rank or high morale are not included For example if your flagship gets MVP multiply the exp oil by 8 6 Mob Exp Oil how much of the Total Exp Oil went to the mob fleet Boss Exp Oil how much of the Total Exp Oil went to the boss fleet
Ship experience and coins per oil efficiency when using ONE fleet See Two Fleets for what the columns mean Because you are using one fleet there are no Mob and Boss Exp Oil columns only a Total
We put these tables out of the way at the bottom because they are not important to the average reader The enemy counts and sizes are already included in the important experience and coin efficiency Chapter 9 and higher have Clearing Rewards that provide coins gear enhancement plates dorm food cognitive chips and augment module experience after each successful sortie More oil spent equals more coins from clearing rewards up to the oil cap All results for Chapter 9 on this page assume your fleets are expensive enough to reach oil cap The clearing reward coin count for each stage is taken from this CN wiki source but we do not condone their data collection methods Data collected by EN players are close enough to these numbers Each battle drops some coins and has a chance to drop a ship The averages are copied from the same CN wiki source We assumed that for stages with multiple bosses the non final bosses have the same drop rates as event elite enemies We further assumed that the average coins per retired ship including gear is 20 coins The coins per ship actually depends on the probability distribution of different ships in each stage but a blanket assumption of 20 coins should be close enough to truth Again data collected by EN players are close enough to these numbers
